Executive Vice President of ZenaComp Incorporated, Peggy Feltner, will present at this year's Small Practitioner Conference sponsored by The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Held August 21-22, 2008, at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the two-day conference offers small/sole CPA practitioners continuing education hours with "big topics by big named speakers."
Ms. Feltner will speak at the Friday afternoon session entitled A Mountain of Technology Tips in 50 Minutes. With her knowledge and experience in technology solutions, Ms. Feltner will discuss technological boosts that increase efficiency in the work environment. "People just need to be informed. Informed about the little things they can do on a daily basis to help make big impacts on their productivity." In her session she will discuss the latest software, gadgets, gizmos and security available including tips and shortcuts when using various software products, saving you time and money.
Ms. Feltner has over 28 years in the technology field with 19 years as a business owner. Beginning her career at Burroughs Corporation while working toward her degree from Oakland University, Peggy became passionate about servicing companies in a growing industry. With a successful information technology company in place, a strategic plan was made to merge with a web design and development company. In 2006, Applications in Computer Technology merged with ZenaComp Incorporated to create a full service information technology company that fulfilled Ms. Feltner's original goal when beginning her career.
